I Do Not Accept Insurance
I am a private-pay therapist and do not accept insurance of any kind. This is a deliberate choice: it means your care is never dictated by an insurance company, no diagnosis is required to be on file, and your records stay fully private between us.
Payment is due at the time of each session.
Therapy is an investment in yourself — in setting aside time to slow down, make sense of what's happening in your mind and body, and create lasting change. Your wellbeing is worth investing in.
Good Faith Estimate: Under federal law, you have the right to receive an estimate of the expected cost of your care before starting therapy. This will be provided to you before your first session.
My Focus
I specialize in trauma and couples therapy. Within that, I work with anxiety, depression, grief, perfectionism, intergenerational trauma, relationship pain, and divorce and separation — in English and Spanish, online throughout California.
My Approach
I'm trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, the Gottman Method, and psychoanalytic psychotherapy to help support you in finding relief and creating the life you want.
My approach to psychotherapy is specifically curated to your needs and goals. Generally speaking, I work from an attachment-focused lens that aims to understand how our early experiences shaped our internal world, leading to our pain and suffering in the present.
All of these approaches work fully online — the depth of our work depends on the relationship we build, not the room we sit in.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) — Level 3 Trained
We'll find clarity and compassion for the different parts of you that need to be voiced. The only way to feel deeply validated and seen is for every part of you to have a voice.
Think of it this way: you have different "parts" inside you — like the part that's a perfectionist, the part that's scared of rejection, or the part that wants to rebel. In our work together, we'll get curious about these different parts instead of judging them. We'll ask what each part needs and what role it's trying to play in protecting you. When all your parts feel heard and understood, they can work together instead of against each other, creating more internal harmony and self-compassion.
Somatic Experiencing — Advanced Level Trained
We'll use the language of the body. This doesn't include any physical touch — it's simply a lens through which we pay attention and gain insight from the body. The body is always speaking to us, and it's our responsibility to listen.
Your body holds wisdom and memories that your mind might not fully access. In our sessions, we'll pay attention to what you're experiencing physically — maybe tension in your shoulders, a knot in your stomach, or a sense of lightness in your chest. There are times that your body will tell us things your mind is not ready to say. We'll explore what these sensations might be telling us about your emotions and experiences. This approach helps you develop a deeper relationship with your body's signals, learning to trust its guidance and release trauma that may be stored physically.
Gottman Method Couples Therapy — Level 1 Trained
For couples, I draw on the Gottman Method — an approach built on four decades of research into what actually makes relationships work. Together we'll map the patterns that keep you stuck in conflict, rebuild friendship and trust, and learn concrete tools for communicating so that both of you feel heard.
This isn't about deciding who's right — it's about understanding the cycle you're both caught in and finding your way back to each other. Online couples sessions work beautifully: you both join from home (together or from separate locations), which makes fitting therapy into two busy schedules far easier.
Psychodynamic / Psychoanalytic Approach
We'll revisit the ways the past keeps showing up in the present and perhaps blocking you from achieving what you want in the future.
In our sessions, we'll explore how your earliest relationships and experiences created patterns that still influence you today. We might notice how you relate to me in therapy mirrors how you connect with others in your life. Together, we'll uncover the unconscious beliefs and defenses that once protected you but may now be holding you back. This isn't about blaming anyone — it's about understanding your story so you can rewrite the parts that no longer serve you.

Research consistently shows telehealth is as effective as in-person therapy for most concerns, including trauma work and couples therapy. What matters most is the relationship we build and your commitment to the work — and both of those happen just as fully over video. Many clients find that being in their own space helps them settle in and go deeper.
-
Before each session, I'll send you a link to a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. All you need is a private space, a device with a camera, and a stable internet connection. For couples, you can join together or from separate locations.

Schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We'll chat, I'll answer your questions, and we can decide if I'm right for what you need. If you're committed to showing up, pursuing change, and going deep, we'll work well together. The focus of our work is understanding the deeper source of your suffering and how it's affecting your mind and body in the present — not just managing symptoms. I draw on IFS, Somatic Experiencing, the Gottman Method, and psychodynamic therapy, tailored to your specific needs and goals.

There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Deep, lasting change — the kind that breaks old patterns rather than putting a bandage on them — takes time. We'll regularly check in about your goals and progress so therapy always feels purposeful.
